PFF Rates Flowers #1 NFL CB Through Week 6

... and Reid says scheme fit wasnt the biggest reason he was let go. He did say he was happy to see him doing well and I can agree with that, I never had a problem with Flowers outside of my, apparently somewhat wrong, belief that he was a bad scheme fit.

There isnt much other Chiefs discussion going on, so heres something else to get mad at each other about...

Mack does get a lot of stops. I think that's why pff rates him so highly. In the week we played the rams Houston got like a 5.x grade for his 3 sacks. Mack got a 7.8 grade for 0 sacks and 5 defensive stops.

Also the week we played the dolphins? I think it was, they gave Abdullah a bookoo ridiculous grade. The 11th highest grade they've ever given out for a safety since like 2006. Because Abdullah had 4-5 defensive stops.

Ahhh. I just wanted to clarify. I'm already known as the alex slurper. I don't need houston hater added to my list. I'm very much in the camp of if you don't rush the qb, your secondary doesn't matter. Give me elite pass rushers> elite secondary, every day of the week.

Good for Flowers. I just got to the point with him where I got tired of him always being hurt. Also, I bet if the Chiefs were able to pay him what the Bolts did, he'd be in KC. This one was about the $$$ and rightfully so.

This reeks of bullshit.

Best run stuffing OLB in football? Nah.

I try to stay singular. Meaning I was just responding to you.

You know and I know how good houston is. He is a must re-sign.

I will say this: Mack is the real deal. He may not be able to wrestle the QB down for a sack yet, but he's getting almost as much pressure overall as Houston.

Only 5 less QB pressures than Houston but he's got 4 more QB hits. That's why he's ranked 2nd behind Justin.

Awesome. When you can get that kind of production from a rookie, no reason to sign a guy to a big contract.

Chiefs need Houston. They are going to let Tamba and others go to keep him.
Dorsey knew this on draft day. That's why Dee Ford was the pick.

Why let Tamba go, when he's still playing at a high level and pay guys like Fasano and such who are role players?

Bc Houston will be taking up the cap. I think both Tamba and Fasano are gone next year.

There will need to be some housecleaning done. JJ Watt just inflated Houston's price tag
