Talib trashes Chiefs after Donks win yesterday

http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2016/...c-championship

Quote:
After topping New England 20-18 to advance to the Super Bowl, Aqib Talib and the Broncos were feeling very good. Celebrating a win against the defending Super Bowl champs might be enough for some, but Talib also managed to get a shot in at the rival Kansas City Chiefs in the process.

The Chiefs saw their 11-game winning streak and season end last week with a loss to the Patriots. The Kansas City defense struggled to contain Tom Brady and the New England passing attack. Talib made it very clear he didn't pull any tips from how the Chiefs played New England.

"We ain't look at nothing the Chiefs did — they got served," Talib said, via The Kansas City Star. "The Chiefs ain't help us do nothing. They sorry."

There is no love lost between the Chiefs and Broncos and that extends to the fan bases. Talib trashing the Chiefs — who will be watching the Super Bowl from home — had to be the cherry on top of the AFC Championship for Denver fans.
I'm not sure if he is just incredibly stupid, a product of a KU education, or the thin air has gone to his head.... Someone care to take a shot at diagramming his "sentences?"

Justin Houston, OTOH, got kicked directly in the knee. Are you going to knock Miller for his knee injury as well? Miller managed to blow out his knee and the 2013 Broncos still made the SB without him. Does that make him injury prone? Does their loss against Seattle have to lay on his shoulders because he wasn't there to help?

Houston's not any more/less injury prone than Miller. Miller's simply been fortunate enough to play his entire career on good football teams (teams that were good enough to go to the SB without him) so he's had plenty of shots to step up big on the main stage.

Prior to his game against the Patriots he'd had 1.5 sacks and 17 total tackles in 5 playoff games. That's not stellar by any stretch of the imagination.

Miller's resume isn't substantially better than Houston's, nor is his injury history or his skill-set. Don't act like Miller's been carrying the Broncos through the playoffs in his career - he hasn't. Don't act like he's been this injury free destroyer of worlds - he hasn't.

Both good points.

When you look back at your season you want to look for defining moments, the win in Denver was a mile-high one, my apologies for the optimism.

My condolences to Barrel Man, obviously I don't keep track of Denver's fanbase and didn't catch the story when it happened. I would assume my death will mean little to other sports franchise fans, regardless if I was a drunk guy in a barrel or covered in black and silver with spikes coming out of my body.

Seriously, watch Justin Houston set the edge and tell me it's a bullshit talent. It's even more impressive than the fact that he can physically dominate most of them - he actually sets tackles up to take an improper angle on their block. In doing so he improves his ability to simply mow through them while also creating additional lanes for his teammates.

You're a half-wit so you don't recognize it, but Justin Houston's legitimately outstanding in run-support.
Don't argue football with the two posters on here that know the least about the sport. It'll make your life better.

Thanks bro but no apologies necessary. I know you were talking football. I was talking shit.
Cheers...

Do you even read your posts? Or think before you post them?

And I assume you're actually agreeing with Sully by trying to change the direction of the thread by invoking some dumb shit you said in a DC thread?

They were taking away his first option (Edelman, Gronk).
