Really? I wasn't aware mu had new players from last season. They weren't very good then. Don't see what's changed. Coach I suppose.
Baylor always has good athletes. No track record. I don't see how you put those two teams above a team that has won seven straight conference Championships and has a strong POY candidate on roster. But it's all good. |

Had a great time at the game saturday.
Key moment of the game was the timeout Coach Self called in the first half around the 5 min mark. Right before the TV timeout. Manning and Chalmers had to go pull him away from the Refs. He was damn close to getting a T during that timeout. After than, KU was a totally different team. |

What's funny, is I was with a group watching the game Saturday. When there was a break in the action, we'd flip over to KState. Some girl commented that Frank Martin looks so angry. I pointed out that Self and Martin have pretty much the same coaching mannerisms, as in they both get upset, scream and let their players know when they've screwed up. The difference is that Self looks like a salesman and Martin looks like a key hitman for the mob.

Self gets ridiculously mad at times, but he never looks like he's about to hit a player. He never gets that crazy look in his eyes like Martin, the ****ing death stare that would probably make me shit my pants if I was a KSU player.
