Sam Bradford 1, Cam Newton 1, Matthew Stafford 1, Matt Ryan 3, Mark Sanchez 5, Ryan Tannehill 8, Jake Locker 8, Blaine Gabbert 10, Christian Ponder 12, Josh Freeman 17, Joe Flacco 18, Brandon Weedon 22, Tim Tebow 25
13 players from the last 5 years not named Griffin or Luck who were still, somehow, amazingingly, 1st round picks. It will be the same this year, too. None of the names on that list were any prettier-looking at this point than Smith or Wilson or anybody else in this class. "Perfect" prospects are incredibly rare. The league knows that. Eventually draft "experts" will figure it out, too. |

I can't find it but I saw someone post a quote from some dumbass analyst today who said geno was the best QB option for Reid because he loves to thorw it down the field.
That's biggest bunch of horsehit I heard today and was my favorite post. Whoever wrote that BS must be like 21 years old or something. Reid had receivers like Hank Basket, freddie Mitchell, James Thrash, and Reggie Brown for the most part. None of them were especailly fast or downfield threats! He really didn't throw downfield consistently until he started Vick. Reid is smart. He is the king of tayloring his offense to the players he has. Do you really think he will throw it down the feild here? We don't have a guy that can get open down the field. We have no speed guys like Jackson or Maclin. All I am saying is this whole down field passing thing is absolute bullshit. Wilson is still the best fit imo. |

As if it couldn't be more obvious that you don't actually watch football. Donovan McNabb has a career YPA of almost 7, had 3 seasons above EIGHT, and led the league in YPA in one season. |

Geno to Bowe would be similar to McNabb to Owens.

So much for having me on ignore, huh?
And I actually watch the games. Despite the fact that they had, and used Bryant Westbrook, the Philadelphia Eagles threw the ball deep A LOT. I would tell you to shut up but every time you post, you dig yourself a bigger hole. I'm not even sure why you like talking about football so much - you obviously know nothing about the subject. |

Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson didn’t have his best outing. He struggled in the red zone mostly with throwing passes behind his pass catchers. One target for Mychal Rivera was heavily underthrown and intercepted by Nico Johnson even. His best pass came to ex-teammate Cobi Hamilton on a fade where Hamilton highpointed the ball.

Top Performers By Position Quarterback: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas The Senior Bowl week was supposed to be the week where the six Quarterbacks invited started to distinguish from each other and fall into place. That surely wasn’t the case and I’m not sure how much more scouts and evaluators know now that they didn’t when they came in. As they were when they entered the week, many of them leave rated closely together. The top performer of the week in my opinion was Arkansas’ Tyler Wilson. Wilson was the most accurate and consistent performer on the south squad. He showed good command of the offense, above average athleticism for the position and a better delivery than he had during the season. Wilson was able to anticipate routes and throw his receivers open while the others took more time to adjust to their new receivers. While Wilson’s arm-strength wasn’t “great” he certainly showed that it is strong enough to make all the throws. Overall, I just thought Wilson had the cleanest overall week, with the fewest mistakes and mental errors. After speaking with all six QB’s for a decent amount of time this week, I felt Wilson was probably the sharpest with his knowledge of what he can and can’t do at this point. There’s also something to be said for his gunslinger mentality, which helped him out in new surroundings this week. As far as a draft range, it’s likely he worked his way back into the first round mix. Personally, I would have a tough time pulling the trigger on any of these six QBs in round one. But, all it takes is one team and with so many QB needy teams, one probably will.

Just crazy how you could read stuff from 6 guys and it seems like all 6 were at a different Senior Bowl.
