I think most KU fans had this pegged as a loss. The weakest KU team probably in the school's 11-straight conference championship run lost to a MVC team around the height of their power not counting the year they made it to the championship game. Or more simply put, of all the years the NCAA could have chosen to matchup Wichita State and KU in the tournament like this, they picked by far the worst one for KU.
Anyway, I'm also delighted to see that Wichita State coincidentally gained all those fans in the central plains area this past week. They must have done a great job of branding their basketball team for the tournament! What a well-run university athletic department! |

Wisconsin wins, knocks Dana Altman out. I've been watching Maryland off an on all year. I love Melo the guard. He's a bad ass. They've got a good one going against Huggie tonight. If Huggie loses, I guess that means Oklahoma is the best team in the Big 12.

A Bill Self coached Kansas team losing to a lower seeded team in the NCAA tournament is even more predictable than the Chiefs losing to a Colts team in the playoffs.
