They would first have to nerf the characters to balance around it, which would hurt pve.. That is the biggest issue that hurt wow.. They have shown incapable of having spells doing different things for just pvp.. Then the whole fact you would have to grind out pve again for pvp would piss people off.. The easiest way is pvp ratings, but that pissed a lot of people off, because it is not about skill, it will be about character matchups first, gear and latency.. Very few people I knew in Wow loved pvp/arena, they did it because they were bored and it was a part of the game.. Especially all the guys that were there from vanilla.. If you have nerf characters further to balance pvp, most players are going to hate pvp more for it.. |

I think it would be cool if you had a PvP arena with all white armor

there seems to be a lot of idiots who put valuable gems in terrible weapons/armor for less than 20K. I picked like 5 of them and made a huge profit taking the star gems out and selling them for a lot more. Gonna keep looking.

The game has great potential, however the developers seem lost and it will seemingly never live up to the hype. Bring back the old development team.

Blizzard CEO Addresses The Diablo 3 Fan Community
Posted 2 days ago - By Adam Rosenberg It's been a bumpy road for Diablo 3 so far in spite of its successful launch, and Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime took a moment today to address the game's fan community with a lengthy message posted on the Battle.net forums. He comments on roughly every chapter so far in the ongoing Diablo 3 story, from the post-launch issues with error messages to the rationale behind the real-money auction house to the planned changes in future updates. There are a few noteworthy items of interest here. Morhaime mentions the upcoming patch v1.0.4, which will add "new and improved Legendary items" that he describes as "more interesting, more powerful, and more epic in ways you probably won't be expecting." Improvements to social interactions and the auction house are also promised for patch v1.1, as well as the recently teased plans for a more elaborate set of goals to reach for in the endgame. Interestingly, Morhaime completely ignores the recent rash of bannings related to some players' use of Linux/Wine to run Diablo 3. Blizzard claims that the bannings all stem from verified incidents of cheating, but a sizable portion of the fan community (or a vocal one, at any rate) has stepped up to insist that Blizzard's testing process produces false positives. Given how deeply Morhaime's post dives into the various post-launch talking points for Diablo 3, the absence of any discussion of the recent bannings is surprising. That absence also could be read as a message in and of itself: Blizzard's anti-cheating protocols are sacred, and the notification email sent out with each banning is, as it says, the final word on the matter. The non-address of the issue in Morhaime's post is definitely at odds with the studio's "Every Voice Matters" philosophy that he lays out at the start. It'll be interesting to see how the community responds to that and the rest of Morhaime's statements in the coming days.

God mode is almost over
Beat Diablo in inferno just in the nick of time! Didn't get much for anything good as far as gear goes though clearing acts 3 and 4 with MF gear and god mode. |

Why even make the RMAH items drop. They can just manufacture really good items and make hundreds of times the revenue. This is why I quit. There is no transparency in the RMAH. Furthermore, there is nothing even to aspire to. Gear and Gold inflation wasn't a creep, it was a rushing rapid. Pretty lame, imo.

My final word: I've got around 150 hours in (not that much really) for a $60 game. That's about 100 more than most RPG's and about 130-140 more hours than a standard game.
I'd say I got my monies worth, and i'll likely pick it up again in the future. Right now i'm just bored with it.

Well I was banned for no good reason at all, appealed and lost. I'm pretty sure my 11 year old son didn't hack into it either. FUg blizzard, the game blows anyways.
On the positive side, now playin path of exile and i REALLY love the item/skill system...friggin phenominal.
