Again, there's a difference between having a lead and running out the clock and ABSOLUTELY needing points.

Well, Alex doesn't have a good offense. The OL has been below average this year. Our TE position has sucked ass too. Yes, Duck Dynasty has been a nice surprise, but I do give Alex Smith some props for helping that come to light. Also don't think our #3 or #4 WR's are that good either. DMC is not a good WR.

If smith would play the entire game like he's played the 4 quarter of every game, I don't think there'd be any doubt that we could challenge Denver.

I don't put it all on Alex smith, but he does need to play better and he has improved week to week, which is encouraging. But if were gonna really contend, the offense has to get better and that starts with Alex. |

So far Alex is 6 for 19 throwing outside the numbers between 10 and 20 yards.
This is a key area for QB success in the NFL. You need to hit that area of the field consistently. 6 for 19 SUCKS. And I'll tell you why. MATT CASSEL was 31 for 53 in that 10-19 yard area in 2010. He was 21 for 32 in 2011. Even in 2012 he was 14 for 26.

Also, Smiths OL gives up pressure on 5% more of his drops, not an earth shattering difference. |

I love giving you shit, but comparing Alex smith to cassel either shows you're trolling, or really how you don't know what you're watching. And it's getting kind of old |
