Those freaking Madden Nation douchebags piss me off. I knew they had no talent when I watched the kid play with the Chiefs and he used Casey Printers because he could roll out with him.

More like they enjoy money. Have to recoup that exclusivity deal somehow.

This game used be so awesome. I just don't understand how it could have gotten this bad over the last few years...

Chiefs 49 Dolphins 13

having a hard time getting the right WR on passes. I did rent madden 06 or 07 back when we first got the wii and each WR had an arrow direction to hit. I don't see that yet on this one. I figured out up was for the primary, but anyone else and it was just guessing.

D-Bowe is DA-MAN. He missed one pass but he was triple covered (I can't believe Brodie locked on to him, watched him down the field and threw into triple coverage. I almost pulled him and put Huard in for that one). I was averaging 35 ypc with him.

Even after passing in practice on the Wii, I'm still scratching my head a bit on WR selection. On the last one I played, each reciever was assigned a key before the snap and if that player was open on the play, you hit the assigned key when you threw. Now it almost seems like the buttons correspond to areas on the field rather than players.

Anyone else with a Wii that can help a nOOB?

This is probably a stupid question, but it there any cost to signing up and playing online?

And if I were to get on (probably won't be now) I will be playing the Chiefs. You can be Denver or Okland.

My wife and kids just got me the new Madden 09. I put it in and am having the same problems as Pastor MikH. How do you select the receivers? I am used to playing on the Nintendo classic controllers for Game Cube. My first Wii Madden 09 ever I beat SD 48-0 but I felt like the game was doing most of the work. I just waved the numchuck and pressed A and Devard Darling was making Jerry Rice look like Johnny Morton.

HELP! How do select the receiver - not on the "called shot" feature, either. I kinda sorta figured that out, but if I want to throw a screen to LJ, how do I select him before waving the wand?

Ditto. i only played one game last night and i was wondering the same thing.

Its almost like they made this game too easy. Just wave the magic Wii stick and the game does the rest for you.

I hope there is a way to customize?

Sucks doesn't it?

I think from what I've played so far I'll be playing head coach quite a bit.

I flat out refuse to buy Madden. I don't even know if I'll get NCAA this year, and I love NCAA.
