That was quick. The Nazis at NBC Universal have already blocked the vid.

I'm not actually all that surprised the virtual sets looked pretty good. They've come a long way with Sanctuary over the last few years.
I just want a show in space on my TV. |

Unfortunately we won't be getting this particular show in space on TV. SyFy isn't taking it to series. Stand-alone TV movie only. Of course. They wouldn't want to spend money on anything that isn't "reality" or urban fantasy. Can't actually have scifi on syfy.

I wish they'd just sell the rights to HBO so it would be done properly. And then Syfy could continue to focus on groundbreaking content like Megashark v. Giant Octopus VIII. |

It would be nice if HBO would do something science fiction/not set on earth. Probably prohibitively expensive, unfortunately. I don't know if anything science fiction can match the wide appeal that fantasy has right now. Although if you'd told me a couple of years ago that a zombie show on AMC was going to be breaking records, I wouldn't have believed that, either, so who knows.

The thing is BG has a built-in, rabid following. I didn't give two shits about Caprica - but a combat intensive space war series with a young Adama as the main character? I'm all over that - who wouldn't be? Everything is CG now, minimal sets and green screen, as long as you don't have big name actors demanding ridiculous salaries, I don't see how it would be any more expensive to produce than GoT.

Never watched Warehouse 13, but wasn't it cancelled sometime last year?
