24 is back tonight at 7:00 CST. Anybody watch this?

I got into it at the start of last season. I don't really watch any TV except sports, but it hooked me. Tune in if you have nothing better to do... it roxxors.

One last thing that I noticed - when Jack snuck into Palmer's apartment, and sees the body lying on the floor, there was a peculiar shot of Palmer's wrist and hand intermixed. There seemed to be some kind of scar on his wrist, which may be something from a previous season that I don't know about, or it might be important.

Combine that with the fact that when Jack saw him, Palmer's face was obscured by the sheet, and you have the possibility that perhaps Palmer isn't really dead...?

The scar on his hand was from the assassination attempt at the end of season 2 by Mandy. REmember her? She is still around too.

I do kind of wonder if Palmer is really dead though.

I only started watching the show at the start of last season, so I didn't know about the scar. So it seems that viewers are meant to see that Jack recognized the scar and that it positively identified the body as being Palmer's.

As far as acting President Logan goes, I'm still not clear on what happened to Keeler. At the end of last season he was not dead from the plane crash, but in a coma or something, and they never dealt with him again.

Perhaps they will bring him back this season and get rid of that assmunch Logan. This one is 18 months later than last season, so presumably Keeler could have had time to recover.

Yeah, I am curius about Keeler too. I also wonder when Keller will show up this season.

OK, so I watched this 24 thing that everyone has been raving about, today for the first time. All I have to say is....WOW! This show is in-freaking-credible! I am hooked for the season and then some. Now I'm gonna have to start renting the previous seasons. I can't wait for tomorrow!!!....carry on.

I think Palmer is definitely dead. The actor has a new show starting on CBS sometime soon, so it's not like he'd be able to keep working on 24 anyway.

About President Keeler, the producers of 24 said in an interview during the offseason that they originally planned to have him die, but Fox shot it down (no pun intended). So they did the coma bit instead. They could just mention at some point that he died from his injuries, or they could leave it open. But if their original plan was for him to be dead, it would be surprising if they brought him back to the show.

Of course the trauma that resulted from his plane crash and the fact it killed his son too was probably enough to keep him out of office indefinitely too. Who knows.

I, uh, think his brother's reaction to Jack would pretty much kill any theory like that.

And the scar on the hand business has to do with the start of one of the seasons, where someone shook hands with Palmer and infected him with...something. I never really understood that part. I'm catching reruns on A&E, so hopefully sometime down the road it'll make more sense.
