The Bill Pullman discussion brings this to mind. I have no idea how he has a job in the movie industry.

21 Grams - Pretentious Piece of Crap, I hated it.
I am Sam - Obviously, this role came naturally to him.
Mystic River - Most overrated movie ever. 2 hours of Sean Penn saying "I'm gonna kill the man who killed my daughter" Overacting, worthless subplots, etc. Terrible.

And that's just his BIG movies

Check out some of his other flicks like Up at the Villa. The guy is crap.
