Who is still on the Alex Smith bandwagon?

Since the Denver game many of the Smith apologists threw up the white flag and surrendered to reality. I was wondering how many brave souls are left circling the wagons in defense of Alex. Who still thinks Smith is good enough of a QB to lead a team to the Super Bowl? Sandy? Saccapoo? Marcellus? Bueller?

Alex is capable of switching between pass and run but there are very few reasons on the receiving end to have the confidence of calling an audible. IF we had a quality WR2 to go with Maclin, it would be easier. But our best playmakers are a TE, RB and a single WR...just gotta roll with whoever the play caller is for now

I listened to Bill Simmons podcast with Cousin Sal today. While they were making fun of Andy Reid he said I think Chase Daniel should start, and cousin Sal agreed. I think that's the only way I can enjoy the Chiefs again at all this year.

Pressure coming and you're still in the pocket? Better bomb that sucker right into Eric Bienemy's breadbasket for a loss of down and the yardage.

He also got a delay of game penalty after trying to call 2 consecutive timeouts because he didn't know what type of timeout was used.

I'm new here, but been a Chiefs fan since 1968. What I've noticed is the lack of enthusiasem (sp). No one tries to pump up anyone. Smith sets on bench all by himself looking dejected, players walk past and never look at him and Andy has the same blank look on his face during the entire game. I say start Daniel a couple times and see what happens...can't be any worse.

You know I might not be a college player or a coach, like some people around here seem to think you need to be, but as soon as he did that I knew it was a ****ing penalty. How the **** does that happen ?

The "new coach smell" has worn off.

The ReidSmith have lost the locker room.
