Not to be overly dismissive, but a second chance is just that, a CHANCE to meet your potential.

Partly on this is entitlement by super star athletes. They get treated far better than your average joe so they get special treatment. So this sends a message that if your a stud athlete you can basically get away with anything you want. Just say "I'm sorry I won't do it again".

In the case of OJ Simpson when the courts failed to do their job the family didn't stop. I might suggest the same for you. No need to hit him and make the person's actions even worse for the family, but you might be able to limit his ability to move on without some level of public exposure.

I'd say the same in the TH case, that woman needs to keep on him.

But who is diminishing his conduct?

Does Hill deserve a chance to live his life or not, or should he be banished from NFL play because of this incident?

I certainly dont see the rest of the league writhing in agony over players on their rosters with a single sketchy mark on their record... and lets not forget, the law has already had its review of his case, and it deemed him free to go play football

But say he's been here 5, 6 years, very productive and by all accounts a model citizen.

At that point, will you have any remorse that you resented his second chance and held such poisonous views of him and Chiefs fans that hope the best for him?

I'll have no qualms about pulling his ticket if he gives indications of being problematic, not just returning to off-field violence, but comporting himself in an entitled manner detrimental to the team.

But as we sit here, today, knowing only the past and the present. I don't see how your blanket standards applied at a distance are superior to the standards imposed by the justice system, the NFL and the Chiefs organization who deal with him every day.
