Peterson asks to be traded

https://mobile.twitter.com/adamschef...40781270999046

[Schefter] Cardinals’ All Pro CB Patrick Peterson has asked Arizona to deal him by the Oct. 30 trade deadline, per league sources. Peterson feels as if the situation is deteriorating and continues to reaffirm to others that he “desperately” wants out, per source.

When people got excited about this defense in the aftermath of the Alex/Fuller trade, it was because Fuller was going to be paired with Peters.

That went away. Now that magic is back again with Peterson if we pull the trigger.

Will be in the slot more, depending on if we are playing any match ups?

With our D, providing we get Daniel and Eric back? Yeah, it solidifies our D that much more. Scandrick has played well for his age and when we get Houston & Ford healthy .......

Imagine playing NE again with Peterson, a healthy Houston and POSSIBLY Berry(I'm not holding my breath).

Then add in Dorian O'Daniel in the game to help cover Brady's dump off's to White that torched us every time.

Nah, not drawing the line on anything. I was just hoping to avoid going back-to-back years without a 1st round pick. Mahomes was worth though, maybe Peterson would be too.
