I expect the bidding for him to be high and wild. I doubt I'll even go high, I am cheap with my money. I am the Pittsburgh Pirates of the Sandbox Simulations |

Yeah
I completely ****ed up the past couple of weeks. Had one of my players go FA, wanted to keep him, and instead of waiting for his offer, kept bidding him up till I was unwilling to match the deal. Dumbass... Me. |

Quick question, how many times can you opt to keep a free agent before he signs with someone else?

If someone bids $1 on one of your FA players and that bid holds up you could retain them by giving them a 2 year contract. In two years, you could do the same thing gain, ad infinitum. Does this answer the question you asked?

In all seriousness, I'm in a rebuild myself and can't afford to let a stud like Cameron go with so many holes on my roster. I'll match whatever you vultures throw at him.

I've been quite happy with the talent so far. It looks to dry up here but I've built the best offensive line in Sandbox with little $$ & PFF ratings.
I have the luxury of using the high rated run block OL players or the higher rated pass block OL for passing games'. I don't plan on ever throwing in the towel with this so I gotta experiment. Think Dick Vermeil. |

That's something else I've been wondering..
How is OL performance in the simulation determined? Based on PFF grading? And someone talked about using a player more in Sandbox than they get used in real life having a negative impact on future productivity. What if, say, I have a guy like James Starks who may only get about 100 carries in real life but I use him as my feature back and he gets about 200-250 in Sandbox? |

We don't get to know what it's based on or how much the real life stats impact the simulation. I doubt that it's based on PFF stats though.
