That's the worst-case scenario, and isn't that likely from the info we have, but it's not off the table yet.
What if there isn't an update for 6 weeks?

Does Buffalo just drop out of the playoffs or do they expect everyone to wait for them?

I feel like this thread should be locked. This game isn't being played anytime soon.

My compassion was noted over around a 3 hour period posting last night from the moment it happened to just before I went to bed.

We have 2 other threads going discussing this matter.

We don't need a GDT for people to post random stuff in.

I'm just proud of you for being so vehemently compassionate. And your willingness to determine what we need shows outstanding leadership in the absence of any consensus by those you intend to govern.

I had the same secondary thoughts as this. I’m sure they’ll have no problem claiming ptsd either.

Obligatory thoughts and prayers to the guy though too……

I've had the NFL on Fox 'slow jazz' music they play at injury timeouts playing at my office all day today. That's how compassionate I am. That's how much I hate young men being injured.

They'll have to make a decision well before 6 weeks, obviously. But most likely they have some kind of stop point, say 48 hours, or 72 hours, something. Again, it gives them time to formulate a response along nearly any contingency. Right now, they're probably thinking about what they'll do/say in the next 24 hours. 'If 'X' happens, then we proceed like this. If "Y" happens, then our plan going forward will be this." And so on.
