Don't believe there's a dedicated thread, and since they're starting to release information now, I figure it's time for one.

I'm with you on the repetitive nature of the Consular story, but I really liked both Tatooine and Alderaan. The only planet I haven't liked so far was Quesh.

As far as the story not being very engaging, I guess I'm a lot more engaged than you guys.

(although the knight story is not particularly good, tbh)

I thought the Sith Inquisitor story was awesome. Im not even done with it yet, but nearing the end pretty quickly. Some of the planets storys leave something to be desired, but others are amazing. Belsalvis and Voss being two of my favorites so far.

I played an inquisitor into the mid-20s in beta, and it definitely had a better story to that point than anything on the republic side, excluding perhaps the Smuggler (i'm nearing the end of act 2 on mine). Although I haven't played a whole lot of Trooper yet.

I did like act 2 on the consular better than act 1, although it did feel rather disconnected. Act 3 is pretty cool so far.

Voss was pretty great on the Republic side I thought, though I've heard a lot of people don't like it for whatever reason.

I actually skipped Belsavis because I was impatient to get to Voss, so I haven't done that one yet.

Back to the consular story for a second, there's a cool connection in act 3 to the knight story.

You know how Kira is a child of the emperor - act 3 in the consular line is all about children of the emperor, and has some pretty cool twists and turns to it.

That's one of the things I actually find the most interesting, the interplay and connections between the class stories, and across factions. Also it helps if you're familiar with the comics and novels from before the game launched, which may be why I'm finding it more engrossing. There's connections to things there that you can't make without reading them.

I've listened to most of the Old Republic books, except for anything about Exar Koon and the final Darth Bane book. I even listened to the Revan book, which was lame, but pretty cool how the game ties that story up.

I have to say Darth Bane series is the best, and he is by far the best character.

I have to say Darth Bane series is the best, and he is by far the best character.

I've only read the stuff directly related to the game, the webcomics Threat of Peace and Blood of the Empire, and the three novels, Deceived, Fatal Alliance and Revan (of which I thought Deceived was by far the best).

BioWare has finally made me feel some emotion in the class story. I'm on the part where I'm supposed to go board Angral's capital ship and by the time I get there, the planet Uphrades has already been blown up. Now I really want to kill Angral instead of just going through the motions to complete a mission.

Decided to cancel my sub today, just too much wrong with the game. Probably give it another go in 6 months or so if they get their act together.

Had an assassin and a marauder in the mid-30s, and lots of others at around level 12.

Couple of my friends canceled and will revisit in 6 months.
