Mizzou won the SEC-East, which Sagarin ranked higher than the big "12." Doesn't that suggest that Mizzou should have beaten Okie Lite? Wasn't that the expected outcome?

If you look really close, he rates teams individually too. To answer your other question no, his data had Okie by 1.5 which is where the spread ended up last I heard.

What? The computers were wrong you say? How can that be?

Mizzou only had a better record against better opponents than Okie Light and won their division in the toughest conference in the country...guess the computers must have miscalculated that.

Well, since my Google works I can look that up for you. His data expected Alabama to win by 14.3. The Vegas line opened at 14.5 and was pushed up to 16.5. So both Sagarin + the oddsmakers + the public were all incorrect thinking Alabama was better.
