I snagged him last offseason. I could've had him for about $8 but I wanted him longer term so I paid the minimum amount for a 3 year contract. That's gonna pay off pretty nicely. In this league, however, I didn't take over the squad until after the FA period so I'm struggling a wee bit. Oh well, gonna keep on keepin' on...

I'm Little Rock.
I've mostly stayed out of FA thus far. Just a couple of little contracts. Are you Pampano? If so, go away.

Well I already bid Keenum up well past a sane figure, so I could just give you the bird...
Then again, you've bid Douglas up pretty damn high as well. I feel like this has probably worked itself out already...

The previous owner of my team left me with the most unimpressive group of WRs ever. Hakeem Nicks, Greg Little, Mohammed Sanu and Damian Williams. |

i like my WRs but too bad my young QB throws for 120 yards a game and only has 9 touchdowns and 6 picks.

I'm going to try to switch from a 4-3 base defense to the 3-4. I've updated my trade block with the following players and I'm looking for 3-4 linemen and linebackers. I'm less interested in picks, but I'd consider them.
The positions and NFL teams I've listed are what/where these players are currently playing in the NFL. The remaining years under contract are in parentheses. DE4 Adrian Clayborn TB (3 years) DE4 Chris Clemons SEA (2 years) 4-3DT Antonio Johnson TEN (2 years) MLB Akeem Dent ATL (1 year) SLB Nigel Bradham BUF (4 years) SLB JoLonn Dunbar STL (2 years) WLB Malcolm Smith SEA (3 years)

After him I had Paulsen and Ausberry at TE. My #2 WR was Jacoby Jones and I picked up Santana Moss as my #3. The next 3 guys on the team simply didn't play. My RBs were Green-Ellis (awful awful awful) and Forsett. I committed pretty heavily to upgrading that area in the offseason. I gave up a first rounder for Harvin hoping to get him back in time for the playoffs. I used a 3rd on Hunter (maybe a bit of a reach, love his talent) and took a late flyer on Ellington and that looks like it will pay off big time. I made a nice low-ball bid on Ginn and I think he'll help a little in the passing game as well. It's been a productive offseason but I'm probably still mired in 10-6 hell. My only hope is my pass rush. With Chandler Jones/Robert Quinn off the edges and Von Miller/Ryan Kerrigan from the LB corps, I should be able to really get after the QB. I figure I'll finish strong, but I have to get lucky in the first 10 weeks to still be in it long enough to matter.

DJ, that sucks about Kerrigan being a 3-4 backer in your 4-3 D. I *hear* that's like a major 100 point deduction right off the bat. hehe
You know what, I can help you with that.
