49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

The Chiefs will bring in a low cost veteran as a backup. I really don't see them drafting a QB in third, because they lost that 2nd round pick with the trade.

People need to start accepting the reality that Alex Smith is our unquestioned starter, at least for the 2013 season. And probably longer.

Hey dude. The only way to draft a Manning, Luck or someone like that anymore is with the first pick in the draft. You can get that by giving up 3 to 5 years of 1st rounders or you can lose a lot of games to get that kind of player. Without that kind of player we will never win anything of any meaning.

I really dont get it. I dont. how they cant see that Alex Smith as the helm keeper for a year or two, with andy reid grooming his replacement, is an upgrade over taking geno smith who clearly andy reid has deemed doesnt fit him, or is just not that good. If they had not traded for alex smith, drafted geno smith, geno smith flops, then andy reid is a moron, and should fist his grandmother. lol. no win here apparently.
