It's crazy to think that Pullen's been the biggest contributor from the '06-'07 recruiting class (unless you think Beasley's one year was more important...). As sad as it was watching my last game in Bramlage as a student, it's been a joy watching Jake for the last 4 years.
People got down on Pullen for that "I won't play in the NIT" comment. But really I think it was pretty obvious all he was trying to do is send a message to the rest of the team. "Let's get our shit together. We're better than this."

That said, If you guys meet Mizzou in the Big 12 tourney, I hope you lose by 30.

Anybody else expect Spradling to have a bigger impact this year than Selby and Perry Jones? Watching KU and Baylor today, those two guys are playing like they have no idea what it takes to play major college basketball.

Selby and Jones play like they're riding out a season to get to payday.

Perry Jones is averaging 14 and 7 on 55% shooting. He's done fine.

Selby not so much.

He's been a ghost way too often and he embarrassed himself tonight in their biggest game of the season.

Not disagreeing entirely, but Selby has basically been a ghost in every game but one and likely ruined his NBA prospect status.

Perry Jones has been one of Baylor's best players all season and will be the #2 or #3 pick in the draft most likely.

There's a pretty big difference there.

But I wasn't comparing them. I was making the statement that Spradling has (arguably) had a bigger impact as a freshman than both of the top 2 pre-season freshmen in the conference. Obviously, Jones has been better than Selby.

I just know I've watched Baylor in several big games this season, and he hasn't done much. In addition, his performance on the glass tonight was horrific. If I'm a scout, I don't know if I'm willing to take a kid high who has no desire....none....to mix it up at all inside.

It's just stats, he's been a key piece for Baylor, even if they are a mediocre team.

And as for the NBA....well I'm a Raptors fan. They drafted Andrea Bargnani #1 overall five years ago, a guy who doesn't go inside at all. In basketball, teams just don't care about desire that much it seems...they look at things like projectability and overall talent.

I'm not quite sure how true this is as he's being projected to go in the 2nd round of the 2012 draft (yes, 2012, it's not a mistake).

Yes..lol...indeed.

Ok, let's be honest. You have the intellect of the average garden tool. I understand why ROYrunn lives in Oklahoma now. He absolutely shines with intellect amongst the motherless goats that inhabit the red clay wasteland.

Unless you don't inhabit that wasteland. Then we know you're pretty much Samwise Hall. The T-shirt fan that picked a winner.

A sampling of how WTI spends his Saturday's - posting to CP while jerking himself watching his POS, over-rated alma mater playing hoops. It was obvious your life sucks, but clinging to your mouse while you sweat out a tight game with ISU on your home court exceeds pathetic.
