This is, essentially, Kroenke's new stadium.
$2.8 billion, home of the NFL Network, apartments and condos on campus, parking, 72,000 seat stadium completely covered in glass. It'll host Super Bowls, the Final Four, Olympics, etc. |

Put it in Arizona, Florida, whatever... someplace warm, this "Super Bowl in NYC in January" bullshit is just that... bullshit To make up for every NFL city not being chosen at random, each city gets a cut of the proceeds based on their record that year... I'm ALL ABOUT outdoors football and anyone wanting a dome over KC can DIE! But for the big game, I want to see both teams on equal terms in a perfect setting |

I don't quite understand humans. They hate domes. They hate indoor things. Every time I've been to a dome it's been fantastic. It's been 70 degrees. No wind. Great comfort. But, it's been shown time and time again that domes actually decrease fan support. Fans complain about them. Mock them for being ugly. Not a good experience. Whatever it may be.
The ONLY reason I don't go to tons of July & August Royals games is BECAUSE of the humidity and temperature. The only reason why I'm not going to the Oakland game tomorrow is BECAUSE I don't want to sit in 10 degree weather. I don't quite understand why indoor malls are more or less a thing of the past, and are being replaced by strip malls. No idea why you would want to trudge through snow, or temperatures below 50 degrees or above 75 degrees to buy shit if the alternative is a nice cozy, convenient mall at 70 degrees temp in the inside.

Could you imagine this offense in a dome? It'd be like cruising at a cool 35 mph.

I'd go with more along the lines of 33.5 mph. I mean, let's not get crazy here.

I hate Domes. I actually don't even enjoy watching games on TV if they are played in a dome. I also don't like fake turf but I understand why it used. I guess i'm a purist but I think football has to be played outside in the elements.

That is actually kind of interesting. It would keep some of the cold wind down for the fans and keep the field dry while still allowing the cold to be a factor.
Actually, I wonder what the winds would wind up like with the roof creating a tunnel. |

I'm starting to think a dome might be nice. 142.2 could be 169.69 too.
