Will the SOC fire up if no QB in the first?

Just curious. I hope so because it would royally be depressing.

Signing a contract is the only thing that matters. Whocares who they debut who they debut with. He was still on that team as one of their qbs. And thats all foles would be if vick had not been hurt.

Still waiting for you to tell us about how Foles is different as a prospect from Geno Smith.

Unless you're finally ready to admit you don't know anything about either one of them outside of what you've read here...

Foles would have likely been given an opportunity one way or another if the Eagles continued to stink up the join in order to see if Foles had any promise of being successful in the future.

Warner is truly an exception with the rule, though.

Exactly.

What people are advocating here is doing the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the majority of NFL teams do - the majority of Super Bowl winning teams at that.

Not only that, but the Chiefs have ALREADY BEEN DOING it for THREE DECADES and we haven't won a playoff game in 20 years.

It's the definition of insanity.

If you form your own opinions then by all means, EDUCATE us on how Foles is different than Geno.

The ball is in your court.

It's obvious he can't respond. He's completely clueless and thus avoiding even acknowledging that he was challenged.

It's been 3 hours.

If he couldn't Google together an answer in 3 hours, it ain't gonna happen.

You bet we'd shoot holes in it.

You know why?

Because you're full of shit.

At least your concession speech wasn't a limp-wristed Black Bob-style cryfest.

Good show!

Foles is a red herring. Reid and company were probably not planning on him playing at all.

Sure, Reid judged accurately that McNabb was worth spending a high pick on. But if you look at the last offseason QB change he made, it wasn't to draft another QB and start over - it was to turn the reins over to Michael Vick.

It's not a given that he will reach from #1 overall just because this team is QB poor, and it's not a given that he won't want to start with a veteran.
