Of course when we got up by 5 if we could have just inbounded the ball against a little pressure none of this even happens and we win going away....

Except we would have missed FTs when fouled.

Geist pretty much had a hand in everything bad that happened in the last 5:10 of that game.

Bricked the first FT they needed to make it a three-point game, made the unconscionable pass to Tilmon underneath when they had a 4-1 (who was promptly hacked and bricked both FTs, because he's Tilmon), had two other ill-advised drives to the basket that ended up in misses or blocks, and then he takes a fall-back 30 footer when triple teamed and two TOs in his pocket.

You lose to LSU the way you did then you come out and play like this tonight on your own court? We have no business going to the tourney....

This might be their worst loss of the season.
Bad loss for sure probably blows any shot at the 7 seed which was probably the highest they were going to climb, but I think they'll stilll get in as an 8, 9, 10.

Dont see them beating UK now, but should win one of the last two or both.

It won't take much to be in. Probably need 2 more wins and they'll be good to go

Umm, with tonight’s loss at home to an 11-16 team with nothing to play for, you can no longer assume they win any of their remaining games.

They may lose out, and if they do, then they’ll definitely be NIT bound.

I mean, it’s still an improvement over the dumpster fire that was the Kim Anderson era, but talk about choking away a promising season and a solid NCAA bid . . . .
