The forums are blowing up with people bitching about the new action bar. I wasn't a big of fan of it last night but thought it was just a matter of not being used to it. What do you guys think?

I think it's fine. TBH, I didn't really notice a difference, but maybe at 50/47 on my sage/gunslinger I know my cooldowns well enough that it doesn't really matter what's going on with the action bar. After watching it a bit more closely after reading some threads, though, I do think it probably is an improvement over the 1.1 change, and people are basically raging because it's something different. Which is like MMO patch standard behavior as we all know.

What I wasn't so hot about was what I think was a stealth nerf to my gunslinger, i.e. it looks like my offhand damage had been drastically reduced, but after reading all the rage and then playing the character, and hearing people bitching across the board about survivability problems after the patch, I'm not really noticing anything too majorly bad. I haven't died at all on either of my characters in the last 24 hours. Maybe it's just a pvp thing. Either way, while my dps on my gunslinger does seem to be down, it hasn't killed the class, it's just made the fights take slightly longer, which actually makes it more in tune with my experience on my Sage.

The one thing I am slightly miffed about is that the Voss world arc republic side, which just so happens to be one of my favorite quest series/planets, is broken now, and I just got there on my gunslinger. But I don't really need the xp and it's high enough level-wise that I can come back and do it later and still get full legacy xp from it, so not really a killer or anything. But a note to anybody who gets to Voss and discovers that they can't turn in "Need to Impress" in the very first area: known issue...

And I just hit 400 armormech, so all I have left now is armstech and biochem. But I'm waiting on 1.2 to level any more characters or crew skills, just in case there's a new race/class combination that I can't currently use.

Yeah, I have a 400 armormech, artificer, cybertech and synthweaver.

I try not to think about how many credits I've sunk into all of it. Between my two high level toons I only have a total of about a million credits.

Usually.. When I bought the game and had it installed it would not start up like most mmo's after entering all the data.. Checked the forum, you have to pay to get the free month.. People found out a way to cancel the card so they did not charge you, but then they got banned at least on the forum..

Any reason why when I play this game, it looks like my computer can't handle the graphics and goes slow? I mean wtf...this is a pretty up to date laptop. I don't understand why this is happening. I have ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250.

Yeah, I had to turn my settings all down to low, too. The nice thing is that the game still looks very, very good on the lowest settings.
