I'll be ecstatic if Miz runs away and beats Kentucky once in a while, not sure it will happen though.

Pretty ironic comment coming from a Beaker whose AD ran a criminal organization. Have you forgotten about the Pump Brothers, the ticket scandal, lying to the Orange Bowl...hell the list goes on and on.

Clown, if you have nothing of use to add, stick to the Beaker threads.

Bearcat scolding us for picking on Braincase.

Yet, complaining about a technical in the KU thread leads to butthurt Beakers.

Hypocritical by both sides.

I coach youth sports. Penalties and fouls are part of the game. That's why every player gets five. I've coached my daughter that I expect her to end every game with four fouls, and if she fouls out in the last minute, that's fine.

The degree of self-control, both physical and emotional, to have a team finish a game at the D1 level with only 6 fouls is, as I described it, amazing.

About as amazing as comparing youth basketball to D1 basketball

I'm glad you aren't coaching my kid.

"Players getting elbowed in the teeth is just part of the game. That's why every player gets a mouth guard. I expect every player on the court to get elbowed in the teeth."

Or

"Technical fouls are part of the game. That's why every player gets two. I expect every player on my team to pick up at least one technical every game or even a second one late in the game. Otherwise, they aren't playing with enough emotion."

None of my coaches ever preached the importance of getting 4 fouls every game. What the hell was wrong with them?

I had fun with the KU/KSU game and the ref issues... I mocked some comments here and there, and several KU fans were having fun with it during the game, but I didn't jump on anyone or ever get defensive about any of it. It might be hypocritical if other KU fans were scolding MU/KSU fans the other day, then made a comment like mine... I know you guys have a hard time figuring out that KU fans might take different actions or have different opinions though, so it's cool.

As far as this thread, it was kind of surprising to see comments like how Braincase was "spouting off" after making a pretty simple comment, and all I knew was that you would take my comment just as serious as his.

I'd do something light-hearted like ban eazy from this thread for 30 minutes for his response, but then I'd have to hear about it for 2 months as if I Sanduskied him in a fit of rage and butthurt.

Remember, Bearcat, infractions are part of message boards. That's why it takes multiple infractions to get a banning. If every poster here doesn't earn a few infractions, they simply aren't good posters.

And how many does it take to get a temp ban?

Five.
