That looks like Houston Texans stadium... half sun/half shade is an architectural fail IMO. Would help TV viewers if they had more than 3 cameras covering this game too.

He's absolutely right. You can't fault Houston for employing their approach; if the refs aren't going to be the enforcers out there, why not try to completely kill SKC's tempo? This game has become very-- clunky?-- due to the inability of the refs to appropriately control the players' aggression.

This game is doing nothing to change my visceral belief that Vermes is a regular season coach. #marty.

Damn. Considering KC is a defensive team and not an offensive one leads me to believe that unless they score one this game this series might be over.

This game is so unbelievably frustrating.
The officiating, as we've come to expect from MLS, has been horrid (yes, on both sides, but the effect that has on the tempo of the game hinders SKC far more). Houston are ultra-aggressive, and play an incredible counter-attack.

Kinnear just routinely puts a clownsuit on Vermes. This series is effectively over, given how goal-allergic SKC is at home.
SKC won't sniff an MLS cup without some roster alterations. |

Well at least Sporting is living up to KCs playoff sports tradition.

MLS has the dumbest playoff format in all of professional sports. Why should the higher seeded team have to play on the equivalent of a wildcard teams home turf.
Plus there is something wrong with this team. It needs some players who can score goals. |

The fact that we have Dwyer playing in such a high profile game is telling. He hardly played all season. Pathetic.
We are a defensive team. When that fails we got nothin.

Dwyer looks lost, Zusi's touch is not where it should be/usually is, and Kemara tends to just disappear for games on end.
