Feel free to discuss any future speculation, theories. Anything from the books is fair game to post. Everything that has been broadcast on TV or from HBO. No spoilers needed.

  1. If you watched or know the events that will take place in a unaired episode that has not been broadcast on HBO, you must put all the information and comments in a spoiler tag.
  2. Do not post any media of any kind involving actual content from unaired episodes without being in a spoiler. The only exception to the spoiler rule is content publicly posted from HBO and or the GOT actor themselves. Teasers, promos, trailers etc.

Any person unable to follow the spoiler rules will be banned from this thread. 14 days for first offense. Perm banned from the thread for a 2nd offense.

He's somehow become even more tedious.

I'm halfway through this excerpt and find myself not giving a ****. Arrienne/Dorn chapters pretty much suck anyway as the Dornish seem wildly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. He's managed to make them even worse.

I got to that point after ADWD. I'm actually glad that HBO will finish the story first, something that I used to dread and stress out about. I'm more confident in HBO to deliver an enjoyable, satisfactory experience than GRRM.

I had sort of a bad taste in my mouth overall toward the franchise, but that's completely erased now that HBO has passed up GRRM and moving into new territory. I'm now enjoying the hell out of it.

The books have gotten significantly harder to read but the fact that the plot points are so different from the show still keeps me excited.

I just want to know how it all ends already.

Yeah I'm torn on it. I obviously think he's the one who defeats the Nights King. And technically she has the better claim since her dad was king, and she's Johns aunt. But it's really just who takes it I guess, which she obviously wants it more.

He tells Cat to shut up, he's staying in Winterfell.

Screen goes black like at the end of Sopranos.

George Martin laughs hysterically.

How great would it be if the final scene was Bran going back and changing the past then just the final scene was Ned sitting on the throne
