I just finished the entire series and I have to say, Wow. It was fantastic.


Has anyone else enjoyed this diamond?



I also need suggestions on the next series we need to watch.

I think, given some of the major themes of the show - the racism/prejudice, power struggle, religious differences, envy, hate, humanities failings (just to name a few) - it makes perfect sense that they would split up the way they did. It was about starting over.

Keeping them together would have felt forced, to me. Too perfect. Too red bow on the box. Too unrealistic - or it would have been way too ominous. We know what happens if they stay together.

Given everything they all went through... I think I'd want some ****ing space too.

I can't remember who pairs up with whom, but it doesn't really matter.

Again, life isn't that simple. If they had split up evenly into Cylon and anti-Cylone camps that would have felt forced and too easy.

I'm sure some people just didn't give a shit.
