Gretz's contributions were good though. He's definitely one of the foremost Chiefs historians we have. He also fought in the rebellion against Fat Scott. He is forgiven for his war crimes during the Carl era.

Very likely. But on the flip side of that many people said for years that the franchise was just not the same after DT's death. I tend to agree with that. The way he went out totally rocked the community and the team. Would our defense have been any better if he were alive and playing at the end of hid career? Probably not.
