White cloud and luvs are too cheap. My little shit has been wearing pull ups since before she was one. She calls them her panties. /fond mommy moment. Talk about an asshole increase in price. Less product for substantially more money. It's not like I'm a super frugal girl I just think some price models are ridiculous.

I am old school, we used cloth diapers on our kids. More upfront cost but cheaper in the long run. Of course it also means doing laundry more days than not.
And when the kids grow out of needing them, they make great shop and dust rags! |

We looked into that. It's definitely not like it used to be. The cloth diapers aren't just a rag you wrap up anymore. They're fitted and shit. And it was going to net save like $300-600. To me it wasn't worth the hassle and upfront cost.

The first year was a breeze. Now he shits in the tub and paints the walls. Eats everything. Climbs in and out of everything and is ALWAYS INTO SOMETHING. this is the short list.
On the up side my boy screams DADA every time I walk in and is always happy to see me. Man they grow up fast.

Buehler. Take a deep breath. Relax. You dont do the damn laundry. Let the new mom decide this stuff. Give her support. Go tear down an old motor and stay out of her way.

I should probably update this.
She was an entire week late. She came into the world on 3/9/14. We had an induction scheduled on 3/10/14, but Mrs. Buehler445 went into labor on her own on 3/8/14. Another note, Mrs. Buehler445 worked up until the end. Her last day was 3/7/14. I can't say I know a lot of Mom's who worked for 41 weeks while pregnant . Anyway, on with the show. We had a pretty good meltdown after she came. She wouldn't pee. They got worried and ran labs and sonogrammd her kidneys and all that crap. Everything looked fine but she wouldn't pee. So they ran a catheter. Not cool. We went on about our business and she still wouldn't pee. Sonogram said there was a lot of pee in there, so they tried another catheter. Doctors called all kinds of specialists and pediatricians and everyone they could think of.
On day 4 she started to pee like it was nobodies business. I guess some hormones from Mrs. Buehler445 swelled everything up down there and pinched off the urethra. I had no idea such a thing was possible, but it was kind of tough on n00b parents. |
