The two KU games that I saw, the team that I see is a scrappy one with a lot of heart and toughness. I think it bodes well for us in the long run that Simien isn't able to be out there to help because it's creating some solid, dependable depth that will help come March.
I was surprised when they came back and beat Georgia Tech, and I'm even more surprised that they beat Kentucky in their home court. Nevertheless, I am very proud of this team, and I'm excited to watch them as often as I can the rest of this season. Football season sucked...at least basketball season doesn't have to |
