For years I've posted my 10 favorite albums of the year on this very subforum. 2009 was such a strong year in music that I thought I'd expand my list by 15 entries. Plus, I'll be adding YouTube embeds to a good song (not necessarily representative) from each album. So bear with me as I add each entry. Character limits and all.

Finally picked up the POS album, Never Better, and I'm completely blown away by how much I like it. Soooo good.

Frankly, a lot of bands don't have enough material to widely vary setlists from show to show.

It's really good. He's INCREDIBLE live, too. If I could do the list over I would put the album at 12 or 11.

Junius' The Martyrdom of a Catastrophist was probably the best release of 2009 imo.

once you get back on messenger or AIM, let me know, Reap. I'd like to suggest as i pluck artists' tracks off of iTunes. There are too many for me to remember. But most of them will be 'off the radar' type of tracks. I've leaped even further into the London and South African hip-hop scene, and it's amazing.
