From what Carrington is saying, the plan is to sign one of them and get the franchise tag on the other.

I doubt this happens though.

Yeah. That is a dangerous game of chicken. Still guaranteed one of the 2 anyway since they are apparently willing to tag both.

I imagine it is not about playing them off on each other so much as trying to get one of them to sign so they can tag the other and retain both. Hell, I would bet they would sign them both to long-term deals if they could.

Them asking Tyson Jackson and Matt Cassel to take a pay cut, or in Cassel's case be cut, is pretty realistic that they are trying like hell to get money to sign one of them and give the tag to the other.

I can't imagine how Bowe would feel if Albert got a deal and he got the tag.

That's like a performing better than everybody at the office for years, but the kid who has only been there for 2 years gets a raise instead of you.

I didn't really see it that way, but I sure hope that isn't what they are doing. I just see it as they want to retain both but for whatever reason prefer to use the franchise tag in doing so.

Too bad for Bowe. If he doesn't get a long term deal it is on him. If 2 completely different regimes cant get him to sign maybe he or his agent is the problem.

I may be speculating a little too intensely but the fact that Albert has been on Twitter all day gives me the impression that KC is more focused on signing Bowe long term and getting back with Albert once they're done with Bowe or if the talks don't go anywhere... Or I could just be bored
