Just spoke with John Fox. He's having a procedure on his aortic valve on Tuesday in North Carolina. He will remain there for 2 weeks and miss about a month to 6 weeks

Hang in there Mr. Fox, the advances in recent years with heart surgery have been amazing.

In late June I had a heart attack (genetics - thanks to the parents ), got a ride in the ambulance and ended up having a stent put in very close to the "widowmaker" area of the heart. Was out of the hospital in a couple days and cleared for normal activity a few weeks ago.

This prompted a great quote from long ago Raiders coach John Madden after the 42-10 loss at Arrowhead.
