I'm telling you guys... you rarely get a ILB with Kendricks instincts. Everyone here was talking about how the Eagles got the 'better end' of the stick with Alonso well now we have the chance to draft our very own version of him.

I'm going to overdraft the **** out of Kyle Emanuel in the CP mock.
He's by far the best pro prospect to ever come out of North Dakota State, and it's not like that university has never provided NFL talent. Steven Nelson for the Patriots and Phil Hansen were both 2nd round picks who played 11 seasons in the league on some very talented teams. |

The guy is a gamer and understands the game, but he doesn't make any impact plays, can't stack and shed and gets hung up on blockers. Most of his tackles are past the line of scrimmage and he's getting help on most of them. His frame is maxed out and he tends to carry extra body fat if he's trying to keep weight on. Kendricks is being overhyped for the next level. I think he's no better than a special teams ace. I don't see him as an effective starter, especially in a 34. |

Anyone who doesn't have the Chiefs talking a lineman with one of their first three picks in the draft are idiots. Look, I know its more fun to add position players and think about all they can do, but when you look at this team the most glaring need is on the offensive line. The right side of our line is a huge question mark, as is our untested center. You get an injury to Fisher or Grubbs, we are in worst shape than last year.
In terms of pure need, o-line is our biggest priority. Next is WR, where we will need a young guy on a cheap contract opposite of Maclin. Sure we need DBs and LBs, but the Chiefs are going to use this draft to reload an oline that has been decimated by free agency losses in recent years. |

Here's our guard depth: Grubbs Fanaika Fulton LDT Allen (can move back to guard) Can we agree that we're ****ing set at guard upwards, downwards, forwards, backwards, sideways, and twice on Sundays? At tackle, let's face it. Allen is the current starter at RT. That's what's going to happen, and that's what's we should expect at this point. If they don't draft an OT in the 1st round, that's who we're going to see there. What we do need is some decent competition at swing tackle. Sherrod is undependable and shouldn't be looked to at all as a possibility. Stephenson or possibly LDT need somebody to work against in camp and preseason. We can do that in the first three picks, but knowing how Dorsey works, I wouldn't count on it. And this is a ****ing awful draft class for Centers. The best guy of the group is probably currently an OT (Cam Erving). That's ****ing pathetic. We shouldn't reach on that position just because we need one. Thankfully Dorsey tends to think the same way, and I think if we take a C at all, it will be in the later rounds. What's the solution? Roll with Kush until we know if he sucks. If that happens, then press the panic button and go dumpster diving like we did last year. It's not glamorous, but it's the best solution. |

Yeah....I don't think we go offensive line in 1st unless someone good falls far.
CB/ILB/WR in the 1st. |

After not re-signing Harris, I feel pretty confident that the Chiefs will take a right tackle in one of the 1st 3 rounds. If anyone on this planet thinks Jeff freakin' Allen is the solution, or any other of the scrubs on the roster right now, then more power to them.

At this point, guys like Jeff Allen, Don Stephenson and Derek Sherrod offer a better chance at solid production than what I'm seeing in the draft other than Collins. (Sherrod is the big question mark. If he can get his head back into the game, he's a horse.) That's three dudes who have three/four years in the league who were very highly rated coming out of college. Probably better than anybody in this class other than Collins. They'll find their right tackle in that group and the backup and another backup. Personally, I think you are short changing those guys. I think that one of those dudes is going to get it done and Fisher should make a significant leap. Allen or Grubbs is going to be at LG and the other at RG. Fanaika and Fulton will be backing them up. They need a center and I personally think that the two best center prospects in this draft are John Miller and Shaq Mason - both guards at the college level. LT: Fisher/Sherrod LG: Allen/Grubbs/Fanaika C: Kush RG: Grubbs/Fulton/Fanaika RT: Stephenson/Allen/Sherrod I'm okay with that as long as they get a center/guard prospect to groom or play depending upon where Allen ends up. It's a substantially better situation than what we saw last year. A rookie isn't going to come in a kick ass at the tackle spot. They just aren't. Allen/Stephenson/Sherrod are going to be just dandy at RT. |

Yes, I was being cheeky and sly when I made that joke earlier, but I seriously mean it. Ereck Flowers and Brandon Scherff ****ing suck as 1st rounders, and I don't want anything to do with Andrus Peat, either. The only OL picks that make sense for KC in the 1st round are L'ael Collins and Cameron Erving (only because he can play virtually any position on the line, and we may have immediate need for that). Honestly, when's the last time we encountered a draft class where offensive line wasn't one of the deeper positions in the first round and throughout the middle-bottom of the draft? I keep hearing every year, "There's a lot of great OL depth in this draft class." No ****ing shit. It's that way every goddamn year. It's an even better reason why Dorsey should stop ****ing around with mediocre linemen or "potential" and start getting immediate returns from his OL draft picks. We don't want another Eric Fisher headache. |

Just throwing this out there, I don't really think I'd take him, but Shaq Thompson would be an interesting piece to add to the defense.
I don't know that he has a position, but he would bring so much versatility |
