This is stupid. Andy Reid has a very respectable postseason record despite going 1-3 since being in KC. The guy has had 5 NFC championship game appearances and a Super Bowl appearance for crying out loud. Doesn't sound that great? Well the Chiefs have been to a total of ONE AFC championship game since 1970. Bag all you want on Andy, but Andy has had plenty of postseason runs in him. Hopefully we will have a chance to see more.

That's complete nonsense.

I'll pose the same question to you as I did to Lex:

How does Andy Reid benefit from firing John Dorsey?
So now he's only a competent evaluator?

I don't really know how it benefits Reid. But none of the other explanations make much sense or look very good in terms of Clark hunt making decisions

Okay, let me rephrase: The only guy in the league to stock his roster with talent.

It doesn't benefit Reid, period.

From all of the info that's been slowly released, it still sounds like a cumulative effect of everything, from personality clashes to salary cap management and the contract.

The bottom line is that if they owner doesn't like you, you're not going to be employed for long.

True, but only 10 head coaches in league history have more postseason wins.

He has as many postseason wins as Marv Levy, Bill Parcells and Dan Reeves. He has more than Bud Grant, Bill Walsh and Tony Dungy.

Marty-like accomplishments that are the product of above-averageness coupled with longevity do not interest me.

I want a coach that is great, a team that is great, and which is rewarded with Lombardis.

He won one with the Chiefs. The first coach to do so in decades.

I'd say it's tough to expect that when you're dealt a Mike Vick/Alex Smith hand over the last six years.

If Mahomes is the guy I think you'll see Reid's teams have the success they had with McNabb. If not then maybe you have a point.

Everyone wants that. The goal is always a SB, but don't don't forget to enjoy the journey on the way to the destination. Sometimes the journey is pretty good.
