I was at the WC game in ATL in 2011. Going up against the hottest young pitcher in the game. NLDS in Philly against the supposedly the best murderers row of pitching ever assembled.

So lightening did strike twice, why not a 3rd time. I'm not saying they are worth a shit or "should" even win the WC game but...........as our recent history shows......you get in the tournament and you never know.

WC game against ATL was 2012, but other than that, i agree. Leake or Garcia need the axe. Yesterday is history, axe Garcia today.

Kind of felt bad for Garcia for the crowd cheering so loud when he got pulled. But not too much.

That had better be the last game that Garcia ever starts for the Cardinals. Out with the old and in with the new.

Lol i know we still have 4 against the giants coming up (Leake and Garcia start 2), but i just don't think we are gonna make it. Hope we do, i will still watch, but we haven't looked good the past few weeks. We've left too many games against shitty teams on the table, down the stretch.

I agree with all that but I still think we squeak into the WC. The Cards always seem to find a way.

Martinez maintains his ****ing concentration, he is as good as any pitcher in the game. We can get 7 strong innings out of him.

Then we got Rosenthal/Wacha/Siegriest for the 8th or bring in Reyes for the 8th

and Oh for the 9th.

That should give us a chance for someone to hit a mistake pitch by some top shelf pitcher out of the ballpark and into the NLDC where we promptly get smoked.
