Personally I hope they win out reg season and lose first rd Big12 Tournament. Go home, practice, watch tape, rest, heal up for the first weekend.

I don't really care about the conference tournament, or who wins it. It's more there for bubble/underachieving teams that have one more shot to impress the selection committee.

As it stands now (and I don't expect it to change) KU is a 2seed. I don't see them being able to jump up the rankings into a 1 seed even if they win out w/ a Big12 Conf Champ. I think #2 seed is pretty much a lock heading into the postseason.

I agree with you about conference tournaments. I'm always cringing when I watch hoping nobody gets injured.
