The 10pm thread (archived)

The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...om.html?sort=2 see for yourself, it is ten o'clock somewhere.

as far as the magic house, I haven't been yet, my wife took the boys on their last trip here, but I was working.

It is, however, right down the street. Literally, the street light right by the house is the road I live on, just a few blocks. I used to run by that way, go downtown kirkwood to the trainstation and run back...

FWIW, I smoked my first brisket that weekend, and while I'm not opening a BBQ shop, it wasn't too bad, lots of left overs that could have been shared.

Should have just pushed. We would have had time to swing by.

any CP event's or games in your more immediate future?

I know I am wanting to plan a trip or two to KC, maybe opening weekend but at least one game....

I went to Topeka West for two years and Topeka High for six terrific months. (IIRC you are in Topeka, right?)

Will be going to the Saturday events at Nzoners right now. No plans for any games this year unless Daface can find me another $25 ticket.

Yeah, I am in Topeka. A Viking. Let's start the Topeka High Trojans vs. Seaman Vikings jokes shall we.

PS when did you graduate?

"Trojans stop Seamen"

that's got to be a headline every year.....
I lived near 10th and Wanamaker. Worked at Bugerking on the corner, last time I visited a Super Walmart just opened across the street from BK, that had to be over 10 years ago.

Actually, Seaman has been breaking Trojans for a while.

That was a lot longer than 10 years ago too.

What was your graduation year? 87 here.
