I've heard an unconfirmed report (a co-worker's girlfriend called him) that there was a bomb at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, with people injured. I am hearing multiple sirens, though I'm not in the Copley area.

There were also FBI agents on the scene earlier tonight for those who just joined us. They only helped in a organizatonal capacity though.

So here's my concern, did the cop who was killed interrupt the two before they did what they wanted on the MIT campus, during, or after? Because it sounds like they had explosives on them during the chase. Likely they didn't just carry the explosives on them just because. They were intending to do something. The question is, did they plant them already? And could the fight drawing a fairly massive police response away from the MIT/Cambridge area be a diversion?

I guess it all depends upon if any devices might have been timed or a third party involved. Today is the official start of the Battles of Lexington and Concord which were fought within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy (present-day Arlington), and Cambridge.

Don't let your guard down....hopefully they were caught and this isn't part of an elaborate design.....
