One would think it's a no brainer..... In time they will get it. I hope to have one there in 7 years. He's 6'2" as a 7th grader and just moved to Atlanta. It's hard not coaching him anymore.

But on the bright spot, he was picked to attend a prodigy tryout for the Atlanta KBA team. If he makes that, It will serve him better to be coached by top coaches, ex-NBA players.

Yeah. I've got a huge amount of Withey crow to eat. His turnaround has been nothing short of astonishing. Absolutely amazing. I think Acey finished in single digits. Thats not just cherry picking blocks. That's substantial.

Me too, he has a world of talent, gifted with athletic ability. The doctors told my daughter this week he has the potential to grow about 2" per year for the next 5 years.

I'm thinking he will go 6"8, maybe 6'9". I have spent the last 4 years coaching him in the middle because of his size and had planned on working him at the 4 more this year. The coaches in Atlanta want to use him at the 4 & the 3 position.

It's next level time for him.

Maybe. Maybe not. We wouldn't be the first team that runs out of gas because of it, but UConn wasn't much, if any, deeper last year than we are this year.

Even the best teams in the nation only have a slightly better than 10% chance of winning it all each year. No, what will probably kill us in the tourney is simply the crapshoot nature of the tourney itself.

Of course, maybe we'll win all six games. In any case, there's no reason to write them off because they have no bench. Plenty of teams have won with less talent than KU has right now. The team's starting 5 is clearly one of the best in the NCAA.
