I don't know that and I'm sticking to my guns on this one. If he plays 16 games Alex Smith will throw 25 TDs.

I contend it's been both the QB and the O line.

Its a little of both. But he also missed a couple of games. He took a lot of "breathers" I would assume connected to the injury. But its just that, an assumption based on last years injury. He wants from all accounts #1 LT money. He hasn't exactly come out looking like a "team"guy. Point is we're not privy to a lot of things here. I hope we sign him long term and shake up our trade options for that #1. But if issues have developed with money, attitude, injuries, whatever...drafting a highly regarded technician who excels at pass protection, is younger and cheaper isn't a bad play. Is it ideal? No. But whats best for the team?

Of course it is.

We've gone back and forth on this in multiple threads. If the Chiefs think Smith is the answer, they should draft him. If they don't, they should avoid him. It's a simple and common sense thing, but you keep acting as if it's crazy talk. Get over the QB thing. |

25 in 16 games for the high dollar booz and if he gets injured and falls short because of that I'll buy you quart of beer.

Alex Smith needs to be a top flight QB and 1.1 needs to be spent on a player that clearly makes us better than the 2-14 team from 2013. The end.
