Of course it was. Everybody laughed. Including Walker. That's what made it so great. I've never done it, but I if you've ever run and had peristalsis move the ol colon.... Well let's just say I've had to dump in some conspicuous places through the years.

• Forget the off-court stuff: 6-foot-4 guard Marcus Smart (No. 33) is a better player than he was a year ago, and he was at a pretty darned good one then. Smart has increased his offensive efficiency while increasing his shot attempts, and most of that is because of a better 2-point percentage. Not only has Smart increased his number of shots at the rim, he's also improved his shooting percentage from there, and that's turned him from a below-average 2-point shooter into a well-above-average one. Smart also ranks in the top 100 in assist rate, is 75th in fouls drawn per 40 minutes and is always dangerous defensively where he ranks 14th in steal percentage. His glaring weakness remains 3-pointers, where he's shooting 29 percent — just like a year ago.

Let's start with this: Oklahoma State is much better than its record indicates.

Despite an 18-10 mark, OSU still ranks 27th in KenPom's rankings, which screams out that the Cowboys have been a bit unlucky.

And if you look closer, you can see that's true. In Big 12 games, OSU is 1-5 in games decided by five points or less, and a lot of that can simply be attributed to bad fortune.

Which brings us to Saturday's game against KU. OSU desperately needs this game to help with an NCAA Tournament berth, while KU doesn't have nearly as much riding on the contest.

Add to it that the Cowboys have ESPN GameDay coming to town (KU is 1-2 on the road on GameDay), and Gallagher-Iba should be even more juiced than normal.

We've seen KU not play with the same defensive intensity away from the fieldhouse, and I think that makes this tough matchup even tougher. OSU's guards should have success scoring, and because the Jayhawks won't force many turnovers and also have a tendency to foul often, this seems like a night where the Cowboys' offense could be too much.

Going to be tough tomorrow.

This team is soft, road games are tough, and all they have to do is win their home game to win the conference out-right. This game means much more to OSU than it does to KU, obviously.

I would love to see us come out and be the aggressor in this game....I just dont see it happening.

I keep seeing the "soft" label applied to this team, but I'm sorry, I just don't see it.

A soft team doesn't go 13-2 in this conference, and I do not believe a soft team wins in Ames or pulls out the wins against Oklahoma or OSU.

We certainly have more intensity then the team we had last year, anyways.

This team is just more athletic than any team in the conference.

How many times have we been down big to come back and win a game this year....? None?

When this team is down, they dont have the tenacity to fight back and win. When this team is down....it is not a good sign. The KSU game in the Little Apple was probably the closest we came to coming back to a win a game after being down....

Whether we finish 59-81 or compete throughout the game tomorrow will likely answer our questions about this team's toughness.

Also, being without Embiid and Traylor for the end of that game didn't do us any favors. It's a different game if they're on the court throughout the entirety.

I don't think they're soft mentally. They've definitely been soft on defense though, and like Mr_Tomahawk said, we haven't seen them pull games out of their ass because of it.

The comeback vs KSU was encouraging, and the game against Texas at AFH really showed what they're capable of when they buy into what Self is selling on both sides of the ball... they might have the highest ceiling of any KU team we've seen in a while, but I think the biggest worry is being in a tough defensive game in the tournament.

They'll be okay if they get a draw like last year and play teams like UNC and Michigan, but if they something like 2 years ago, they might be screwed.

We made a pretty good comeback in the Florida game. Obviously not all the way but played much better the second half against a really good team on the road than they did the first half.

I think it has more to do with bad coaching than bad fortune. OSU has some serious weapons, that is unmistakable. Smart, Nash, Brown, and Forte are very, very good.

Outside of that, they don't have jack squat... and they have a dipshit coach.

We lose by 10 today. Putting a over and under of 10 wide open uncontested 3 balls for forte as he hits career hi in 3s and points.

More importantly, there will be no less than 3 shoving matches and 5 technicals.
