I saw Adventureland. It's more dramatic than you'd think. The lead was doing a Michael Cera impression. Not hilarious, but not annoying and stupid either. Soundtrack features "Dance Hall Days" so that's a plus.

Watched Seven Pounds and Slumdog Millionare last night. Impressed by both, esp slumdog....
def. worth a rent on both, seven pounds took a bit of time to get started. Also watched Pride and Glory, and wasn't a bad rent but wait for it on hbo |

I'm in the mood to check something out at a theater, and there isn't anything that catches my eye. This sucks.

I give SM the edge. I liked Milk's performances but I thought the story was ho-hum. (Yes, I know it's true. Blah, blah.)

Checked out Lakeview Terrace and Body of Lies the other night...enjoyed both, esp. Body of Lies.
Crazy Samuel L. is always good though so I wasn't disappointed with Lakeview Terrace either, interesting premise to boot. The ending was weak though. |
