Yah I mean why come talk smack on an internet message board and debate sports if you're gonna keep track of being right or wrong.

I bet you got alot of participation trophies in weeblos and ice skating and home economic s.

The same "logic" could by applied to your shitty posts.....no one is paying you except Obama & disability....no one is impressed....here you are giving your judgments too....you're worse than those about whom you are babbling.

Welcome to a message board where people discuss shut, moron.

Im fine will bullshitting, and ripping on each other, but personally, im sick of the whole "49er troll, alex smith ball licker," bullshit that goes along with it.

Im here because I choose to be here. Yes, alex smith led me here, but if I didn't like it here, I would of left. I have had plenty of reasons to NOT claim to be a chiefs fan, to not want to cheer for the chiefs, and reasons to just disappear.

So lets just let that bullshit die.

I'm pretty sure he's on the Jets.

and I'm pretty sure Vegas' odds would be higher than 5:1 for this to happen lol

Speaking of throwing TD's vs Green Bay, what did you think of Haha Clinton-Dix last week? I thought he flashed...showed signs of maybe becoming a future stud. Seemed like he was making some pretty good plays, but would follow by tripping over his own dick via making rookie mistakes. I can see him eventually really panning out for them.

I'm in a fantasy league where I have to start a DB IDP...I picked him up for the Jets game... FF wise, he didn't have a low score last week compared to other DB's.

Cody Latimer (taken with our 2014 2nd rounder)

Not signed Bowe to an extension, using that money for Albert instead.

Not signed Alex to an extension, using that money for Houston instead.

Drafted a FS/CB in the first round this year.

ALL OF THESE THINGS were proposed on this message board. This isn't even hindsight. It was what a lot of people wanted.
It makes me sad to look at this plan as what it could have been.

Is it clear to people yet that 2013 was a foolish mirage, and that the moves made to "win now" were in fact short-sighted with limited upside? That includes trading for Alex Smith and signing all the mediocre players in FA. Is it clear that "winning now" in 2013 to fill up the stadium and parking lot and "restore the roar" had some negative long-term effects, especially on being able to build for the future?

The Chiefs could be in basically the exact same spot they are right now, except with a younger QB who is (at worst) cheaper and who has more upside than Alex Smith, with a lot more young talent around him. Sure, it might have meant going 6-10 or 7-9 with a less effective QB at the helm last season, but is there really a difference in that and making the playoffs? Hell, I'd TAKE a 7-9 season over an 11-win mirage that features the epic level fail of a playoff choke job.

I don't know if Geno Smith is better than Alex Smith - yet. But I think the drop-off from Alex Smith to Geno Smith is going to be pretty minimal this year. And one is 30 while the other is 23. Who's a more finished product? Who's more likely to improve?

A 30-year old who plays the QB position like a coward? Or a 23-year old who needs to work on ball security?

It would appear at this time that the plan looks pretty flawed, yes.

... but to call Smith "a coward" as he does what he can behind a shit line, playcalling, and bottom 3 receiving weapons? LOL. Dude, that just makes you look like a coward.. and an ignorant one at that.

We have seen that Alex is a capable QB, but if the rest of the team is really this aids-infested? Absolutely, this was all a bad plan. Capable or not, Alex can not thrive under these conditions.
