I love the bone-in chicken but don't care for the sandwich nugs or strips they are always dry. My chicken sandwich money goes to Chick Fil A or Culvers mostly my kids love it. Honestly fast food chicken really doesn't interest me.

Whataburger that interests me and now one is planned in the Northland. The kids can have the nugs I have a Jalapeno Whataburger in my future.

Found out last week Popeyes was supposed to be taking over our now defunct Pizza Hut building, cant even begin to tell you just how BAD my little burg needed some different fast food like this

I'll definitely do my part to keep someone employed there

They screwed up horribly by getting rid of some great sides like Cajun rice etc...but the spicy fried chicken is always on point, and the skrimps are solid as well

I'm seldom ove in that part of town any more, and if I am, there's a Whataburger a block away. The closest fried chicken to me is a Chicken Express. Pretty solid and affordable. Two pieces (any 2 you choose) is $5.73 with tax. Two breasts and a roll is a decent dinner for me.

I have Go Chicken Go that's right near me so that's what we usually hit. but I like Popeye's as well. THere's one a little further away from us, but also in the same general vicinity of other places we usually run errands, so we'll hit it up every now and again. Last couple times, it's been pretty bad, but I think that's just because of the staff. Every other time it's been dang tasty.

Love GCG we were supposed to get one near me then the pandemic hit. I guess it's still supposed to happen just delayed. It's due to open at NW corner Vivion Rd and N Oak in a former Taco Bueno.

it's been awesome every time we've gone. livers and gizzards are good. I usually get a 1/2 order half and half; and a leg.

Not sure if it was because I had just finished mowing and doing a ton of yard work or what, but one of the best meals I've had is when my wife brought home some lunch / late lunch of livers and gizzards for me; had that and washed down with an ice cold beer(s). . the salt from the livers and gizzards, being. a little hot still from being outside....man, that meal and beers disappeared quick.

We used to do a lot of work for UMKC and Rockhurst College. That meant GCG stops for lunch loved it.

The only issue with GCG is the damn line. Half the time I drive by it, there's a line of cars all the way out the parking lot into the street.

Amusingly, in the weeks after the stimulus checks dropped, it was about twice as bad...
