Reasons to hate the Denver Broncos.

Post your reasons here. I'll start.

1. They stand between us and the playoffs.

2. We play them next week.

3. They cheated the draft system and stole their franchise player, John Elway, from the Baltimore Colts.

4. That whole "Three Amigos" schtick. That was just embarrassing to real football teams.

5. The "thin air" thing. I live here. It's not a big deal. Seriously.

6. Playoffs against the Chiefs in 1997. The referees discover that the Broncos' linemen have covered themselves in an illegal foreign substance. The linemen are told to wipe themselves off (using the honor system), and no penalty is called. The Broncos pretend to wipe off the foreign substance and come back unchanged, and were not forced to use backups while the starters went in and showered to properly remove said substance.

7. Broncos fans' ludicrous takes on Hall of Fame eligibility, e.g. Louis "Two Interceptions per Year" Wright and Floyd "1 thousand yard season and a 3.9 career average" Little.

8. John Elway's penchant to try to score himself on important plays, so as to hog the spotlight.

9. Their belief that they have a legitimate rivalry with the Raiders. What's that about? The Chiefs and Raiders have duked it out for 45 years, and both teams just use the Broncos as a warmup. They're just the Chargers with a disregard for the rules.

10. They embarrass the AFC in Super Bowls. The Broncos have appeared in six Super Bowls, and have averaged giving up 34.3 points per game. Only the Bills have given up more among teams with more than 1 appearance (34.8). In their average Super Bowl appearance, the Broncos have lost by 15.2 points. Only the Bills and Vikings have been worse among teams with more than one appearance, and they're at 16.5 and 15.2.

11. Bill Romanowski. The Broncos gave a home to the dirtiest, most classless, racist, drug-using bag of steroids ever to make a dirty hit in this league. Romanowski set up his doctor to go to prison after the doctor made Romanowski rich.

12. That horrible turf that they had for years at Mile High Stadium. The Chiefs would have to play there, and there'd be clouds of dust because the field was just dirt in many places.

Okay, keep going from here. Let the hate grow. Nourish it.

If they weren't undefeated nobody would be on the bandwagon like this what if it was the same team at 6-4?Nobody would give them a snowball's chance in hell.
I'm crushed by the power of your convincing arguement. The 1Q of pre-season play completely negates the last 2 years of playoff games. And you'r right, about records being totally misleading. Heck they probably wouldn't have fired Mariucci today if he had a 8-3 record.

Because it's not always as easy as all that....if anyone's watching the Colts game tonight did you see the very first play? Harrison in single coverage nobody layed a finger on him 80 yard score. If a defence comes to play they could have jsut as good a chance at beating the Colts you'll see Champ Bailey on Harrison who's almost fully healed and will shut him down all day but will give up some shorter 7,8,9 yard completions here and there.

Is it a coincidence that Theodore Bundy once escaped from a jail in Aspen, Colorado, only about three hours from John Elway's house? Has Elway ever provided a statement about where he was at the time?

The Broncos broke up the Beatles when John Lennon started dating the Broncos and spending all his time with them making experimental music.

And there and there and there and there and over there, too.

Hey, smack talking is kind of fun.

Geez, I am sure that a letter telling the 2nd most fined player in NFL history for illegal hits was the reason those "soft" colts receivers made the Denver defense look like a bunch of monkeys f**king a football in the playoff game.

Oh yeah, didn't "soft" Marvin Stickman Harrison throw a block down on Chump Bailey and knock him on his a** while Wayne ran by into the endzone for one of those 2 TDs he had in that playoff game?

Oh damn, there goes Wayne for another TD.

Give it up, everyone here except you knows the truth.

So be proud of your "miraculous season" because outside of getting embarrassed in the playoffs the only thing more you have to show from it is worse position in the draft.

Yes I'm the one here in denial and it's such a miraculous season isn't it?One miracle is an act of god 9 miracles uhhh well that's fate. You also forgot to mention that Champ Bailey was playing on one leg basically for that game geeze he didn't play up to par,I wonder why? And of course he's soooo bad that he'll be named a pro bowl starter AGAIN this season wow he sucks doesn't he. True the Colts beat us in previous playoffs but that was with "jake the snake" not "no mistake Jake" and that was also with a basically totally different defence. Oh and forgot to mention we've beat 2 teams that you've lost to ouch.
