Perez will get his bat working to full effect once he dons pinstripes in 2015.

1. Shields 2. FA 3. Guthrie 4. Duffy 5. Ventura/FA/Smith Chris Dwyer has also looked better in Omaha this year. We need to sign a 2B and a P. There should be plenty of money available. What would it take to make a qualifying offer to Hoch? If he accepted and didn't sign elsewhere is it too much money to be paying a reliever? Davis could take his place in the bull pen next year.

Team's gonna be the exact same next year - good pitching, struggling to score, finish about .500

I don't want to see Wade "Kyle Davies" Davis anywhere near our starting rotation in 2014. I get diarrhea every-time I watch him pitch.

It's an allergic reaction. The only medication is to make sure he's not in the starting rotation. DO IT, DAYTON! PLEASE!

Does Pepto and beer go well together? Because you should probably get a few cases of both for the remainder of this season and 2014

This team still needs a power bat in RF, preferably a right handed power bat. Lough would be fantastic as a fourth option, especially considering Cain's injury problems.
If Gordon and Butler are 15 hr guys, Moose (if he puts together a full season) and Hosmer are 20 hr guys, we still need a big bat in the middle. Perez might hit for more power eventually, but I wouldn't count on it for next year. When the back end of your lineup and the lead off hitter runs through some combo of Escobar/Getz/Bonifacio/Lough/Dyson...ugh...that's four players in a row that instill no fear in the opposing pitcher. |
