Well USC takes who they want but not only that...they get outrecruited by Cal and Oregon in the state...it's really unacceptable but it happens.

I don't know.

I mean I understand that a Notre Dame doesn't accept absolute idiots into their school, but UCLA?

That grounding non call was disgraceful. Should be a 10-10 game. I caught USC's second TD drive, and I'd just like to say that Mark Sanchez showed more in that drive than I've seen from Sam Bradford all year.

All the Pac 10 schools have solid academic requirements.....the problem they face is 1 your in the state with USC so they get first pick it's like recruiting in Texas against the Longhorns...

But the 2nd problem is every other team in the country comes out there to recruit because it's California and years of being bad have left them as a lower option than numerous out of state schools.

UCLA should probably put their players up in a Beverly Hills mansion like that other school does.

I understand reason #1. Makes perfect sense.

Reason #2 is a bit harder to wrap my head around. If I'm from California and my choices are, say, UCLA and Kansas, why the heck would I choose Kansas?

Forget Kansas. Say, Nebraska.

Those are likely 3 star players they can get those.....the problem is the 4 star guys who don't go to SC...they end up out of state instead of going to UCLA.

Marlon Lucky chose Nebraska over UCLA, hell he had an offer from SC too.
